DR and Margaret love Christmas. The spirit, the giving, and especially the way people treat one another at Christmas. DR was a lay minister for over 22 years.

A few days after their first Christmas in 1994, Margaret asked DR if he felt the same about Christmas. Absolutely! It was then that they decided to decorate their home for children to enjoy and create memories of what Christmas should be. Their grandchildren were young back then.

After moving to Henderson, NV, they've continued their tradition and now they share it with friends, family, and those they meet along their life's journey. It 2019 they had more than 200 people tour their home.

Some interesting things: The two of them begin decorating mid-October and try to complete the process before Thanksgiving dinner. There are approximately 140 Rubbermaid totes, 5 for the front yard, 10 for the back and the balance for inside the house. In the off season, they are stored off site in a climate controlled environment.

With a few exceptions, all of the wood yard art including, Santa, his sleigh, and all the reindeer were made by DR. There are decorations from all over the world.

Packing everything begins the 2nd of January. The process usually takes two weeks. Everything is stored in two offsite storage units nearby.

Please enjoy these pictures of our home. May this holiday season be with you for years to come.  DR and Margaret
